Karla and I moved Stay The Course to her new home in Spring City, TN. It was a windy and beautiful voyage, and we absolutely love our new slip at Terrace View Marina. Enjoy the beautiful footage of the trip.
Karla and I were fortunate and excited to have Mark and Wendy join us as we traveled 472 miles up the Tennessee River to our home port of Chattanooga. We traveled during the last week of October, and the leaves did not disappoint!
We piloted Stay The Course from Lake Chickamauga to Chattanooga to enjoy dinner after Christmas at Hennens. It was a fabulous trip!
One of our first forays with the boat. We piloted her 20 miles from Ft. Myers to Captiva Island where we spent one glorious week learning how to speak dolphin.
We were joined by our good friends Charlie and Renee to help us move STC from Mobile to Chattanooga. A big heartfelt thank you to both of them!
We navigated through 17 locks to get from Mobile to Chattanooga, and this video is a great example of that experience. One thing to remember about locks: do not be in a hurry. It is another timeline entirely.
We pulled in to Goose Pond Marina for the night just as the sun was setting. It was beautiful, and the marina was excellent. Next stop - Chattanooga!
In January we crossed the Gulf of Florida, and that is the day we learned to trust Stay The Course.
